As an AVID Stephanie Brown fan - and sales assistant at WHSmith in the UK - I was HOPING that the DC Comics Chess Collection would include Steph. After including Alfred, Cassandra Cain & now Azrael...surely Steph would be in the range.

STILL no such luck. FUCK Dan DiDio!

Anyways...AWESOME job, mate. The modifications to the original Batgirl chess piece look ace! Could take this as a genuine chess piece! Nice one!

Steph WAS supposed to be the Batgirl of the DC Chess Collection, but then the New 52 happened and... duh >_>

THANK YOU!! :-)

How did you do it? I love this. I would buy this real quick. If I knew how to do this, I would buy another Batgirl piece and do this myself

I detached the figurine from its base with a saw, then secured it to a resin replica of a regular DC Superhero Collection's base, I removed a few details with sandpaper, added other details with a modelling putty called Milliput, sandpaper again, then I applied a coat of primer paint and, eventually, painted the figure with the right colors (I use Citadel color paints).

Not on this one, nope. Here I used only yellow-grey Milliput putty :-)
